Madame Alexander “Little Red Riding Hood – 1991” Vintage 1997 Hallmark Ornament #2

This vintage Hallmark Keepsake Ornament from 1997 is called “Little Red Riding Hood – 1991.” It’s #2 in a series of ornaments featuring replicas of Madame Alexander dolls. The series started in 1996 and is still in production. One new ornament is released every year.

The ornament is incredibly detailed and is modeled after a Madame Alexander Little Red Riding Hood doll. She has blue eyes, freckles, and curly golden hair with a pearlescent shimmer. Her dress is green with red and white trim and she wears a pearly red cape. She has white socks, brown shoes, and holds a basket of food on one arm.

The ornament is very large and heavy, but Little Red Riding Hood can also stand up by herself, so she could be displayed on a shelf.

The bottom of the ornament is marked “Madame Alexander, Alexander Doll Company, Little Red Riding Hood – 1991, 1997.” 

The ornament has been displayed, but is in good condition and comes with its original box.
