Barbie 2001 Hallmark Christmas Ornament – 1961 Hatbox Case

This Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is the 1961 Barbie Hatbox Case decoration released in 2001. It’s a miniature replica of Barbie’s black vinyl clothes and accessory case from 1961.

The front has the 1960s Barbie logo and three images of Barbie. There’s a black loop handle on top and an extra metal ring where an ornament hanger can be attached. The case really opens and is stuffed with tissue paper inside to help it hold its shape.

The back of the ornament is marked “2000 Mattel, Inc. Hallmark Cards, Inc.” but the ornament was released in 2001.

The ornament has been displayed, but is in good condition. When not in use as an ornament, it would also make a cute little retro coin purse or a miniature for your Barbie or other playscale dolls.
